4 Things To Do In The Early Evenings

The day isn't over yet!

November is here and also the early evenings. Meh. But fear not my friends, even if the sun sets at half five, there's still so much you can do to (1.) relax and (2.) keep the day going! So, here's a little list of four things you can do that are sure to make you look forward for it to get dark early...

001: Your own home cinema: Now what could this mean, you ask... Well, it's super easy to create and it's probably my favourite thing ever! All you need is a smartphone projector, so no expensive snazzy equipment here and lights off in your room. Then you can watch anything from Netflix to YouTube!! (With added snacks!) You can get your hands on one from Urban Outfitters, Oliver Bonas and Tiger even have released their own for a bargain of £10.

002: Read by fairy lights: I've milked the term hygge but it applies here kids. Turn your fairy lights on, put on some candles, etc. and settle down with a good read. Since it's November, you for sure can read a Christmas novel. I won't tell anyone promise. Plus, if you have a pack of Cadbury giant buttons it makes everything better!

003: Have a chilled candle lit bath: By this I mean using a Lush product or your favourite drugstore bubble bath, put candles around the tub. They can be battery ones if you want to be safe. Put on a spa music playlist from YouTube and soak in it for an hour. What utter Autumn/Winter bliss.

004: Pamper yourself: It doesn't have to follow after a bath. It could even be after a plain old shower, but pampering yourself during the evening can help you relax and get ready for bed. Do your nails and finish with a hand cream, take care of your feet, do a face mask and exfoliator, etc. It's all about self care during this time of year...

What do you guys like doing during early evenings?

  1. Autumn is the best time to really relax and cuddle up in bed/on the sofa - reading by fairy lights is such a cute idea!

    1. Yes! I feel like in summer I don't really relax as much as I should and in Autumn, I'm all over it haha

  2. I'm always looking forward to coming home these days, now that it's completely dark at 5pm all I want is to be cosy at home, possibly in bed reading a book - that's my favourite out of all your suggestions. However I can't wait to go back to my parents' for Christmas to have evening baths (with Lush bath bombs thrown in obviously!)
