And you won't believe where it's from
Yeah, I bought ANOTHER bag. And my excuse?? Well, it was an amazing bargain for a designer bag I've been lusting after for aaaageess. If you guys know me, I have expensive taste, and when I see something that's very similar to something else that I can't afford, I will buy it. And just over a year ago I bought
this pretty Marc B bag that was a dupe for the Mulberry Lily.
But recently, I've been obsessed with the Gucci crossbody bags. Probably because every blogger has one now - and more specifically, it's the
Marmont matelasse bag - also the
disco edition that Tanya Burr has. It's the most beautiful shape and I'm just obsessed with the red.
My obsessions of the New Year
Woah the first month of 2018 went by SO FAST. But luckily, I've had enough time to catch my breath and gather together some faves of the month. It's a lovely little mix of beauty, life and the best musicals ever (seriously) and I can't wait to talk about them with you...
All the good things of the month
We're almost a complete month into the new year and I'm still writing '2017' on all my notes. I'm in denial of it being the next year, but even though we all hate the month of January - can Spring come already? - it's been a pretty exciting month so far for me! And I wanted to recount it all for you guys on my blog!
Make this your fave EVER hobby
I've written A LOT of posts related to the wonderful world of blogging. It's the best thing to ever be invented and an amazing way to meet new people through what they have to say. But, there comes that time when you fall into a rut where you feel like a pile of poop when it comes to updating your blog and publishing new content.
You guys get what I mean right?? You just feel uninspired, and even when you have a post you want to write, you just can't be bothered. It's straaange. So, with that in mind, I thought why not share my ideas on how you can fall in love with your blog again - and feel so excited to share things it's like you're skipping in a field of daisies with the sun shining. I legit want to do that. Spring, where are you?...
Bathe in a bath of love
Last week, Lush released their Valentine's Day collection and you can bet I went to my store and stocked up on 99.9% of all the bath products! I left out the shower, soap and lip products as I already have loads from Christmas that I need to use up - but you can bet before the collection is gone, I'll pick up a couple of bits! (And Rose Bombshell bath bomb has a really sickly rose scent that I can't really stand meh)
Be a real life mermaid
There's one thing that I love apart from pugs, coffee and pizza with all my heart. And that's makeup. More specifically, lipsticks. In the past two years I've fallen completely in love with liquid lip kits and those ones that make a look stand out. I'm talking purples, blacks and now blues!
A homemade subscription box
Before last year was over, I made a trip over to Carnaby Street and decided to treat myself to a Birchbox from the pop-up shop! I'm veeeery late to the party with these beauty boxes as I've never subscribed to one myself and have only read other people's posts. But it was about time I got my first taste of it...
Freshen up your blog feed
Do you know what's better than being a blogger? Reading other people's blogs! Everything from beauty reviews to life topics, I'm all over it! And last year I discovered a fair few blogs that I couldn't stop reading. As well as a firm few favourites that I've read for a couple of years.
So I decided to throw together a post with a few of the most amazing bloggers I've come across, that you guys need to read yourself! Without further ado, here they are...
001: 'ice cream' whispers clara: Not only is Elizabeth's blog so pretty with a pink design as well as stunning photos, but the posts themselves are right up my street. Fashion, beauty and life with an added sprinkle of cuteness. And we take a moment to admire her header.
002: charlotte doherty: Charlotte's blog is a recent discovery! Not only does she talk about beauty, life and baking but she comes across as so down to earth you can't help but fall in love with her blog. Plus her blogmas this year was amazing and so festive with the fairy lights as dividers in the posts!)
003: dainty alice: I discovered Alice's blog last year, and if you love Lush as much as I do, then you'll love her space on the internet! You'll for sure discover new products you'll want to part with money for - and as always her photos are on point.
004: hobbits and hairdye: I've not been following Char for long, but she comes across as really cool and hair to dye for. Who wouldn't want peach or pink hair?? She also writes about beauty (loved her Hayley Williams 'Hard Times' makeup look) and life - and I'm looking forward to what she's going to publish this year!
005: mermaidmoonchild: Hayley has been a fave of mine since before she created her amazing blog, and she's really grown as a blogger and a person. Blogging about beauty, life and lush - and her blog theme is so cool! If you add only one blogger from this post, then do make it Hayley's!
What bloggers have you been loving this year?

Where I want my future self to go
I'm a bit of a wanderlust. I have whole boards on pinterest dedicated to the countries and cities I want to visit, pore my eyes over other people's amazing trips all the while not doing anything about realising these travelling dreams. All the lists of where to go and I'd readily pack my suitcase but also, I have no money. Meh.
New purchases I couldn't resist
Having still a few bob of my Christmas money left over, it only seemed right for me to hit up Boots and Superdrug and treat myself to a few new products. I've been eyeing some of these up for ages so I was pretty stoked - let me tell you guys - to go aaaall out.
Setting out to achieve great things
So guys, it's 2018. I was blown away the other day that the third Shrek film was made 10 years ago and now we're already into another year. Plus I'm 21 this year. Heck no.
The photos in this post were taken around Christmas time at that popular blogger cake shop that I actually have no need to name. I thought I'd throw them in anyway because I've had nowhere to use them so far on the blog...
I'm off for two weeks which I'm really grateful for as I haven't had a holiday off work since last May and I want to take this time to recharge, work on my blog and youtube as well as thinking about what I want to achieve this year. And what better way to do that than publicly put my goals in a blog post?
They're going to be a bit random and full of big and small things. But let's be real, do you guys care? Ok, ok, let's get into them...
My whole year before your eyes
This year I decided to film one second of every day as a way of documenting my year, and also sharing what I got up to with you guys. I MAY have missed quite a few days *slaps wrists* but what I do have brings a smile to my face... Moments with family, friends and just solo trips out, relaxing and even some baking attempts...
