Lush Valentine's Day Collection 2018

17.1.18

Bathe in a bath of love

Last week, Lush released their Valentine's Day collection and you can bet I went to my store and stocked up on 99.9% of all the bath products! I left out the shower, soap and lip products as I already have loads from Christmas that I need to use up - but you can bet before the collection is gone, I'll pick up a couple of bits! (And Rose Bombshell bath bomb has a really sickly rose scent that I can't really stand meh)

Of course, I'm forever alone, but that doesn't mean that I can't treat myself to a few floral and citrusy cosmetic goodies. Because if no one will love me, I might as well love myself...

This year's collection is defo the BEST they've done so far. I liked last year's but nothing compares to what the brand has brought out for us lushies this year. So without further ado, here's what I popped in my basket...

001: loveboat bath bomb: Smelling like those classic love heart sweets (says everyone and my supervisor and I totally smell it too now!) with sweet orange oil and rose oil, this pretty bomb creates the most pretty bath art with the yellow (underneath with candy hearts stuck in) and the pink and blue. You can even compare it to the foam that Twilight bath bomb creates!

002: whole lotta love bubbleroon: If you love Fizzbanger bath bomb, then you'll be all over this one with cocoa butter in the middle. Jasmine, lemongrass and rose create an amazing floral yet citrusy scent that isn't that standard lemon scent. The butters make really silky smooth bath water that's perfect for adding that extra sprinkle to a pamper evening.

003: heart of enlightened expectation bubble bar melt: I've had bath bomb melts, but not bubble bar ones, so I'm excited to dig into this one! Jasmine, rose and geranium create a scent that's just like a fresh bouquet of flowers. The top looks like pretty cake icing with a bit of lustre and it makes me not want to use it because it's so pretty haha.

004: tisty tosty bath bomb: This was discontinued earlier last year, and they've brought it back for VD, but with a twist, the bottom is white, while the top is pink with the classic flowers inside. The rose in this product isn't too strong and that's what I love about it. I'll definitely save this one for when the 14th comes...

005: unicorn horn bubble bar: The classic has returned! *party poppers* The colours are sooo much better this year and the scent of lavender and neroli makes me love it even more. This is one bubble bar that Lush should keep producing forever and maybe even make it an all year round product. Just saying.

I also filmed a haul which you can watch below featuring products I haven't mentioned in this post, wooo enjoy!

Have you guys picked up any of the Lush VD products?

  2. Thanks for the video! I always like video hauls better than blog posts, not sure why but I really enjoy watching them. The famous unicorn horn is the funniest item of the collection, although bubble bar melt sounds really promising too, and does look like a cake haha!
